Been looking around for a travel bag for my new Vepr and I stumbled across this today:

http://www.shopbarska.com/Cases_Bags-Lo ... e_Bag.html

The new Loaded Gear RX-100 rifle bags are built to provide the best possible protection for your rifle. The RX-100 is heavily padded for extra protection for transport or storage, and is extra long for longer rifle storage. The RX-100 features a strong, detachable shoulder strap for easier transport. Also includes additional pockets for accessories, so you can be rest assured that items stored will be protected during transport.
Reg $99.98 for $39.99, no tax & Free Freight!

With the 23" Barrel won't fit in a typical 44" tactical bag. It doesn't look like the mag pouches will hold the 7.62X54 mags but I couldn't pass it up at this price. Not sure how long the sale is going on but I thought I would share. They also have sale/clearance pricing on some large hard case too!

Regards,
ToddsSS, Benton, AR

I like condor outdoor bags, similarly priced, and fairly sturdy, best part, they are all modular, turns out a large pouch designed for a gas mask or med kit or something fits a 12ga drum perfectly.

I went with a soft padded backpack bag for an electric Bass. It's about the same dimensions as the one shown above, cost $15 on ebay new, and I can take my guns to the range on my motorcycle without a hassle. I plan to put a few compartments inside too.

I had a Condor soft case that I loved, but the stitching in the bottom of the side compartment failed. In fairness, I had 14 loaded 30 round AR mags and another 300 rounds in there. Apparently, 720 rounds is too much :|
