I don't see these causing much wear on the mag well. We are going to make the contact surfaces fairly large, so it should be fine.

I would think steel would slide on the plastic better than scraping on steel anyway. I am more concerned about wear on my aluminum magwell though.

Yes. the factory magwell is glass reinforced nylon. Comparatively slick. For the same reasons as delrin on steel is slicker than steel on steel. But not to the same degree. I'm sure you are familiar with the concept.

I'm recording the design process and clipping it together. I'm intending to go back on the first one to clip in some photos of the drawings to show whats happening.
Just figured it would be interesting to see stuff as its coming along.
